What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a Barista, Food & Beverage Assistant, or in a customer-facing hospitality role
-
Passion for coffee and a good understanding of coffee preparation and hot beverage techniques

Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Confidence in upselling and making personalised recommendations
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
-
Excellent attention to detail and presentation standards
-
A proactive, positive, and solution-focused attitude
-
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays when required

Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices
What you'll be doing as a Barista:
-
Welcome guests and deliver a warm, friendly, and personalised experience

Prepare and serve high-quality coffees, hot beverages, food, and snacks in line with company standards

Take orders, process payments, and ensure service is delivered efficiently and accurately
-
Proactively upsell beverages, food items, and loyalty programmes to enhance the guest experience

Support daily coffee shop operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock control, and maintaining cleanliness standards
-
Develop strong product knowledge of menus, drinks, promotions, and service techniques
-
Handle guest requests professionally and work with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
-
Share information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to create memorable guest experiences
-
Demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to service excellence
-
Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, and company policies while contributing positively to the wider hotel team
