For this client, we are seeking a well-organized, ambitious professional working at the plant in Haps.
About the Role:
You are responsible to take care of all our equipment, basically our machines whenever a repair or a substitution is needed. This is a hands-on role and your procurement skills help you to do it fast and efficient but if you have no procurement experience so far, that’s fine as well. Important is you have a good technical understanding and that you are interested in finding solutions in a fast and efficient way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting strategic sourcing & procurement programs for Capex category
- Driving client stakeholder engagement and ensuring seamless delivery
- Achieving key KPIs including cost savings, timely delivery, and quality execution
- Managing sourcing projects end-to-end, from planning to execution
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, RFX processes, and project charters
- Lead supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation & contract management
- Drive spend optimization, supplier rationalization, and savings delivery
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements
- Leverage market intelligence to identify risks and opportunities
- Manage and mentor cross-functional and global teams
Qualifications & Experience:
- Best would be bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial preferred) or a similar education
- 4–6 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or process management
- Strong machinery and technical understanding
- Experience in plant operations or industrial environment preferred
- Exposure to global stakeholders
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems
- Strong MS Excel and analytical skills
- Lean / Six Sigma certifications are a plus
