- A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a QA leadership/manager role within a production or site environment
- Experience with quality management systems, standards and audits
- Experience with site certifications, customer audits and handling customer quality questions
- Experience in quality risk management, complaint handling and crisis management
- Experience working in projects, such as validations, change management or quality improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical skills and experience with quality performance indicators
- Fluent in English and Dutch , both verbally and in writing

Vacancy description
As Manager QA/QC Meppel, you are accountable for implementing, sustaining and continuously improving the FrieslandCampina Foqus Quality Management Process, Standards and Systems at site level. You ensure that quality, food safety and compliance are fully embedded in daily operations and decision‑making.
You lead the Site QA/QC organization and play a central role in safeguarding product quality, driving performance and strengthening a strong quality culture across the site.
Your key responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Leading people management to ensure a high‑performance QA/QC organization, focusing on engagement, retention, talent development and sustainable employability
- Acting as a member of the Site Management Team and Business Group QA Team, contributing to site and cluster quality strategy
- Ensuring site compliance with all required certifications and FrieslandCampina Foqus standards
- Delivering site targets on customer complaints, First Time Right and failure costs
- Preventing significant quality issues related to innovation, change and new product introductions
- Ensuring effective quality issue management in case of critical complaints and crises, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
- Driving continuous improvement in quality performance and customer satisfaction
- Collaborating closely with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D and Business Group Quality teams to ensure quality by design
