If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Buyer to execute the strategical buying for EMEA logistics procurement commodities with special attention to the procurement of transport logistics.
Based in Amsterdam, you will report to the Group manager EMEA Logistics procurement. You should have tracked records of procurement commodity management, strategy set up and vendor management. Ideally you have in-depth knowledge of markets and carriers and experience in negotiating complex contracts.
What You'll Do-
Be responsible for logistics procurement and optimize the procurement process for EMEA logistics together with your Key Stakeholders.

Develop and implement strategies to drive down costs while ensuring that transport companies receive fair compensation, aligning with our commitment to responsible sourcing.

Leverage your analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities, should cost, analyze market trends, regulatory compliance and evaluate supplier performance to make informed decisions.

Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements and contribute to the company's financial goals.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and finance, to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.

Drive the adoption of fully automated transport solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and streamline logistics processes.

Develop a strong Supplier Relationship Management program
- Acquiring a solid understanding of cost drivers, should costs and markets development.
What You'll Bring-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2 years of practical experience in logistics procurement.

Demonstrated track record of successfully reducing costs while maintaining supplier relationships.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with responsible sourcing principles and commitment to sustainable procurement practices.
