Job purpose
As a Sofis Operator, your main responsibility is to meticulously build, code, and assemble interlocks and related components following provided specifications. You will ensure seamless integration and proper functioning of interlock systems, adhering to operational standards and safety guidelines. Additionally, you will accurately tag components and completed assemblies for easy identification and complete final assembly, creating fully functional products ready for final inspection. Housekeeping is crucial to maintain a safe and efficient working environment, so you'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, strictly following safety protocols and good manufacturing practices.
Duties and responsibilities
- Building Interlocks: Precisely assemble and construct interlocks according to provided specifications, ensuring all components fit seamlessly and function properly.
- Coding Interlocks: Program interlock systems, configuring them to meet the required operational standards and safety guidelines.
- Tagging: Accurately tag interlocks, components and completed assemblies for easy identification
- Final Assembly: Complete the final assembly of products by combining interlocks and other components to form a fully functional product ready for final inspection
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and good manufacturing practices, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications
These are the qualifications that are necessary to be considered for the position:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- The ability to write and speak in English at a professional level
- Detail-oriented with strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Commitment to quality and safety standards.

Working conditions
The Manufacturing Operator role will require handling of parts daily and up to 20kg manual lifting. The Manufacturing Operator is deemed front-line staff and is expected to be on-site based in Alphen aan den Rijn.
The working hours are 40 hours per week. Available shifts:
- 6.30-16.00 Monday to Thursday, 6.30-11.30 Friday
- 8.45-17.30 Monday to Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: €2.409,00 per month
