**Calibration Engineer – Automotive & Powertrain** As a **Calibration Engineer**, you are responsible for optimizing and calibrating control parameters within vehicle systems, with a focus on combustion engines (diesel), Battery Management Systems (BMS), and hybrid or electric powertrains. Thanks to your work, vehicles meet the required standards in terms of performance, efficiency, emissions, and driving behavior. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams within Mechatronics, Automotive, and Control Engineering. Using engineering tools such as MATLAB and Simulink, you analyze system behavior and develop and optimize control strategies. As an Employeneur at TMC, you combine the security of a permanent contract with the freedom, responsibility, and entrepreneurship to shape your own career. **Your challenges** - Calibrating and optimizing control parameters for diesel, hybrid, electric powertrains, and Battery Management Systems (BMS) - Analyzing vehicle, engine, and battery data to further enhance system performance - Developing, testing, and validating control strategies for engine, hybrid, electric powertrains, and BMS - Conducting calibration activities on test benches, in simulations, and during vehicle testing - Collaborating intensively with control engineers, software engineers, and system engineers - Ensuring systems comply with performance, emission, and regulatory requirements
