Job Summary
As a Filet Processing Operator, you are responsible for handling raw meat received from upstream production lines. You will operate and configure processing machines that separate, portion, and package meat products according to specifications such as size, weight, and packaging requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect raw meat from the previous production stage
- Operate and monitor filet processing machines
- Set up and adjust machine software based on product specifications
- Ensure correct portioning by size and weight
- Package products according to customer or product requirements
- Perform quality checks on processed meat
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report technical problems
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and food safety standards (HACCP)
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
Requirements
- Experience in food production or manufacturing preferred
- Basic technical skills (machine operation and settings)
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Team player with good communication skills
