As a Dishwasher in the heart of Maastricht, you will work within a historical monument directly opposite Central Station, ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly every day. This role is also known in the industry as a Kitchen Assistant or Steward.
In your role as a Dishwasher at Amrâth Grand Hotel de l’Empereur, you are the backbone of our kitchen efficiency. Your daily activities in Maastricht will include:
- Ensuring all dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and general kitchen facilities.
- Assisting the kitchen and restaurant staff with basic support tasks as needed to ensure smooth service.
- Handling waste separation and disposal in strict accordance with hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Monitoring the inventory of cleaning materials and reporting any shortages to your supervisor.
- You have a positive attitude and are eager to learn new skills
- You work well in a team and communicate effectively
- You are reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- You have an eye for detail and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
- You have a basic understanding of English or Dutch
