As a Financial Specialist, you will be part of our Operations & Finance team. Together, we ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.
At WoonVeilig & Egardia, we are continuously evolving. That's why we're looking for a Financial Specialist who is passionate about improving processes, developing meaningful management information, and advising senior management. Together, we'll build a future-proof Finance department and support the continued growth of our organization.
In this role, strong communication skills are essential. You can connect the dots, translate data into valuable insights, and provide well-founded financial advice. You will act as a trusted sparring partner to our CEO and play an important role in supporting strategic decision-making.
You proactively identify opportunities to improve administrative and financial processes and take ownership of implementing those improvements, always with a focus on efficiency, quality, and risk management. You'll also be a key point of contact for internal stakeholders across the business.
- Preparing management reports and financial analyses
- Acting as a financial sparring partner for senior management
- Optimizing financial and administrative processes
- Leading Finance-related improvement projects
- Driving process improvements and operational excellence
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Contributing to the automation and digitalization of Finance processes
- Gross monthly salary between €4.800 and €5.000 (based on a full-time 40-hour workweek)
- A 24-hour per week contract (60%)
- Travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometre in accordance with Dutch tax regulations

You have:
- A Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field
- Extensive experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with AFAS or a comparable financial ERP system (preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a critical mindset
- The ability to work independently and take ownership
- A solution-oriented approach and the ability to identify patterns and connections
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial legislation and regulations
