MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast-growing high-tech engineering and consulting organization. Originally French, but now operating in Europe, the secondment of engineers and IT specialists focuses on the design and implementation of innovative systems for large-scale industrial projects. The NL office is located in Eindhoven, but the ambition is to open multiple locations in the Netherlands. The company is characterized by a 'can-do' mentality, in which responsibilities lie low in the organization and 'accountability for results' is a natural consequence. In this position you work with a talented team in the mission of transitioning into a new scalable & future-proof computing platform. You are expected to be a multidisciplinary engineer with broad experience in computer systems. You will be a member of a scrum team working in multidisciplinary environment, in this environment you will interact with peer software engineers, DevOps teams, IT infra teams, HW engineers and other stakeholders. With your talent you are expected to foster the team effort in making the transition toward the new computing platform.
- You work in SAFe organization, and you are part of a scrum team following agile/scrum way of working.
You use your expertise to steer solutions into the right directions and drive/support colleagues in realizing these solutions.
You are proactive in reaching out to stakeholders and align requirements, specifications and designs with them.
You apply best software practices to realize high-quality software.
You demonstrate end-to-end ownership for software deliverables, that include, documentation, design, implementation and testing.
You learn fast and stay passionate to expand your knowledge and expertise beyond computer systems.
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor's, or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant field.
Experience in scripting languages, e.g., Python, PowerShell, Shell.
Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge about computer architectures.
Experience in software virtualization and containerization, e.g., Linux KVM, Kubernetes framework.
Experience in analyzing computer system performance and in using the right diagnostic tools in both Windows and Linux..
Experience in automating the installation and configuration of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience in software lifecycle management.
Experience in computer networks.
Experience in cybersecurity is a plus.
Experience in C# development is a plus.
Experience in automated testing (e.g. Robot framework) is a plus.
