As a Data Environment Engineer, you play a key role in the reporting process for our partner. You will develop into the knowledge holder for the creation of environment-related reports and the functional management of relevant computational models and ICT systems. The functional design and reporting work spans the entire spectrum, from improving the incoming data in the systems using engineering knowledge to enhancing and developing dashboards where the reporting figures of our client are displayed. Our partner expects you to familiarize yourself with the history and technical design of the assets, along with the associated policy documents and legislation governing these reports, so you can help track, adjust, and refine processes, calculations, and developments. It is crucial that you either possess or are willing to acquire knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Sustainability Manager, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI. These programs are essential to the reporting process. You will also act as a bridge for ICT knowledge between the IT department and the Engineering department, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the reporting process in the broadest sense of environmental topics. Through this role, you also become a key player in the energy transition by helping to better map and analyze emission sources, working toward the reduction of emissions, leaks, and losses within the network. This entails an advisory role to assist in identifying areas for improvement in hydrogen, natural gas, CO2, heat, and N2 transport.
