Graphics Production Specilaist
We are searching for an experienced Graphics Production Specilaist at our Venray facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Prepress Production Specialist, you play a key role in ensuring that customer artwork, print specifications, and production tools are translated into accurate and production-ready solutions. You bridge the gap between customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities, ensuring high-quality medical and pharmaceutical packaging products are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
Working closely with Commercial, Product Specifications, Operations, Engineering, and external suppliers, you contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while driving quality, consistency, and operational excellence across our prepress and print production processes.
What will you be doing?
Prepress & Artwork Management

Review, prepare, and optimize customer artwork files for production.

Create and manage customer proofs, print specifications, and artwork revisions.

Ensure compliance with manufacturing capabilities, customer requirements, and quality standards.

Support the successful release of products into production.
Tooling & Supplier Management

Coordinate the development, procurement, and qualification of printing plates and production tooling.

Inspect tooling for accuracy, quality, and production readiness.

Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and consistent quality.

Maintain strong supplier relationships to support manufacturing continuity.
Technical Support & Continuous Improvement

Provide technical expertise for prepress and printing-related challenges.

Support troubleshooting activities and prevent recurring issues.

Contribute to process optimization and standardization initiatives.

Drive improvements in customer proof automation and printing plate drawing processes.

Support implementation of global standards and best practices.
Quality & Compliance

Participate in CAPA investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with internal quality requirements and applicable ISO standards.

Support continuous improvement of quality and operational processes.

Required Qualifications:
What are we looking for?
Education & Experience
-
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Technology, Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a prepress environment.
-
Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
Technical Expertise

Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.

Experience with prepress software such as Esko Deskpack, ArtPro+ and Automation Engine is preferred.

Understanding of Flexographic, Gravure, and Digital printing processes.

Knowledge of color management, color matching, and print quality standards.
