As Global Account Manager , you will have the opportunity to make immediate contributions to our sales growth initiatives and develop a unique skillset by serving as a trusted advisor to our customers.
The role is based in our Creative Center in Hilversum, the Netherlands
You will lead one of IFF’s most strategic customer partnerships, owning the relationship end-to-end while unlocking long-term, sustainable growth. This role goes beyond commercial delivery: it is about shaping enterprise-level strategy, influencing senior stakeholders, and positioning IFF as a trusted innovation partner. In this role, you will be a key player on a strategic, customer-focused, and growth-oriented team where collaboration and ambition drive meaningful impact.

Where You’ll Make a Difference
Build and strengthen executive-level relationships across a global customer organization, positioning IFF as a trusted strategic partner
Translate customer strategy, market trends, and consumer insights into forward-looking account growth plans
Define and execute a multi-year global account strategy, aligned with both customer ambitions and IFF priorities
Identify and unlock new business opportunities across regions, categories, and business units to accelerate growth
Lead joint business planning and executive business reviews, ensuring alignment and measurable outcomes
Orchestrate cross-functional teams (commercial, creative, technical) to deliver seamless, high-impact solutions
Own financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, and forecasting
Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract strategies, balancing value creation and risk management
Foster a customer-centric culture, influencing direct reports and key stakeholders across a global, matrixed organization
What Makes You the Right Fit:
Proven experience managing global or key strategic accounts within a complex, matrixed organization
Strong track record of driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships, not just transactional sales
Ability to engage and influence senior executive stakeholders with credibility and impact
Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, account planning, and long-term value creation
Experience managing cross-functional, multicultural teams, with both direct and indirect authority
Commercial acumen, including pricing, negotiation, and financial performance management
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear direction
High ownership mindset, with resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments
