As an Information Risk & Compliance Officer, you are responsible for managing risk and driving continuous improvement across our organization. You conduct risk assessments, lead the response to security incidents, and ensure effective risk controls across Akkuro Savings & Investments (NL) and Akkuro Core Banking (NL & Iceland).
You also embed security throughout the software lifecycle by translating security policies into practical guidelines for developers, management, auditors, and customers, ensuring compliance is transparent and consistently maintained.
As an Information Risk & Compliance Officer, you work closely with our customers, advising them on security and compliance, discussing improvements, and supporting them every step of the way. You are the primary point of contact for banks, auditors, and regulators, ensuring our services meet the highest standards of security, transparency, and reliability.
You also contribute to the continuous improvement of our software processes and SaaS platform, advising on solutions, software procurement, cloud services, and supplier selection with a strong focus on security and risk.
As part of our Information Risk Management team, alongside our Information Security Officers, you will help continuously strengthen information security and risk management across Topicus.
- Holds at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in IT, Information Security, or Information Management.
- Has 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a complex IT or financial environment.
- Brings strong expertise in information security, preferably supported by relevant certifications.
- Is familiar with ISO 27001, SOC 2, DNB, EBA, DORA, and GDPR requirements.
- Has excellent communication skills, is proactive, and can discuss security topics effectively at all organizational levels. Experience with financial regulations and compliance is a plus.
Your primary work locations are Deventer and Gouda, with occasional travel to our office in Iceland.
