To drive this evolution, we're looking for an experienced Java Engineer to ensure delivery excellence in a fast-paced, Agile and international environment.
Are you an experienced Java developer eager about building robust systems? Headfirst Group is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications, contributing significantly to our core infrastructure and backend solutions.
Your Responsibilities:

Be part of the development of scalable Java-based backend services.

Develop automation and integrations to streamline onboarding and operations worldwide.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications.

Optimize application performance and ensure system stability.

Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Have a solid understanding of backend (Java 21, Spring Boot, Hibernate)

Have a strong commitment for both high-quality, maintainable code and effective delivery

Experience with RESTful APIs, monorepo architecture, and cloud services.

Familiarity with databases and data integration techniques.

Proven experience applying AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools in day-to-day engineering workflows.

Ability to work effectively with AI-assisted development environments such as Cursor, VS Code, or equivalent tools, while maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and security.
