PME Legend, Cast Iron and Vanguard, our Finance team helps keep the business moving by making sure transactions are processed correctly, records are accurate and financial information is available when the business needs it.
As our
Financial Administrator Retail, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day financial administration of our retail business. From invoices, bank transactions and store cash records to reconciliations and month-end closing: you make sure the details add up.

YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the
Group Financial Controller, you'll support the Finance team across financial administration, reporting and month-end processes.
You'll work closely with colleagues in Finance as well as our stores and other departments to keep financial processes running smoothly.
Your work covers the complete administrative flow: processing transactions, maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end close and making sure financial records are accurate, complete and up to date. You don't just enter numbers.
You make sure we can trust them.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
KEEP THE FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION RUNNING
-
Process day-to-day financial transactions accurately and on time;
-
Maintain and update the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded correctly;
-
Process invoices, expenses, expense claims, receipts and payments;
-
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation;
-
Support the administration of store cash records and day-end closing processes;
-
Make sure financial documentation is stored correctly and in line with internal policies and applicable requirements.
SUPPORT MONTH-END CLOSING & REPORTING
-
Support the month-end closing process and make sure all required transactions are recorded;
-
Prepare and process journal entries, accruals and prepayments;
-
Perform account and bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies;
-
Support the preparation of financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheet specifications;

Help ensure month-end activities are completed accurately and within deadline;
-
Provide accurate financial documentation and support during audits.
CONNECT FINANCE WITH OUR STORES
Retail finance doesn't stop behind a spreadsheet.
You'll stay in close contact with our stores and internal teams to make sure financial information flows correctly.
You'll:

Support stores with financial administration, cash records and closing processes;

Clarify financial information and resolve discrepancies with other departments;
-
Work closely with Accounts Payable and Payroll to maintain accurate financial data;
-
Perform store audits to check compliance with applicable policies;
-
Help improve financial processes where you see opportunities to make them smarter or more efficient.
KEEP OUR SYSTEMS & DATA SHARP
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in our financial systems;
-
Ensure transactions are entered correctly and on time;
-
Work with ERP and accounting systems such as Microsoft Business Central or similar platforms;
-
Support financial software upgrades or migrations when required;
-
Help colleagues with system questions or training where needed;
-
Support ad-hoc Finance projects, budget preparation, data analysis and forecasting.

WHAT YOU BRING
-
An MBO or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field;
-
At least 2 years of experience in financial administration, accounting or a comparable Finance role;
-
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes;
-
Experience with invoice processing, expenses, general ledger administration and bank reconciliations;
-
Familiarity with financial reporting and month-end closing;
-
Experience with an ERP or accounting system, ideally Microsoft Business Central or a comparable platform;
-
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, functions and pivot tables;
-
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
-
Good organisational and problem-solving skills;
-
The confidence to investigate discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution;
-
Fluency in Dutch and English;
-
German is a strong plus.

Pay transparency
For this S3 role, we work with a salary range that reflects the level, scope and responsibility of the position. Based on a full-time 40-hour week, the salary range is based on the annual S3 salary band.
Your final salary depends on your experience, background, ecommerce expertise, platform knowledge, product data experience, project management skills and the level of ownership you bring to the role.
