Bistro Mus is a contemporary bistro in Rotterdam where seasonal ingredients, craftsmanship and hospitality come together. We create refined yet approachable dishes inspired by both local produce and international flavours.
Our goal is to provide our guests with a warm and memorable dining experience, complemented by a carefully curated wine list.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join our team and grow together with us.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present dishes according to Bistro Mus standards.
- Independently manage your own section in the kitchen.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
- Work closely with the kitchen team during preparation and service.
- Follow HACCP and hygiene regulations.
- Manage stock correctly and minimise food waste.
- Receive and check supplier deliveries.
- Contribute to the development of new dishes and seasonal menus.
- Work efficiently during busy services.
- Be welcoming with the clients
Requirements
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen.
- Passion for gastronomy and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Sense of responsibility and ability to perform under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
