The Senior Director, Global Formulation – Risk Management & Sourcing, Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) leads ANH’s global formulation capability and provides strategic leadership to the formulation organization. This role is accountable for building a high-performing global team, strengthening technical and leadership capability, and establishing the standards, tools, metrics, and ways of working required to deliver ANH’s business objectives.
This role will advance formulation effectiveness across ANH by improving speed, consistency, quality, and value creation. It will establish and continuously evolve world-class formulation standards, analytics, performance metrics, digital tools, and artificial intelligence-enabled capabilities, while incorporating an outside-in perspective to sustain ANH’s competitive advantage. Through globally connected and locally executed capabilities, the role will enable markets to formulate faster and more consistently, protect product performance and customer commitments, improve cost competitiveness, and support material margin growth.
The Senior Director will ensure the successful deployment, adoption, and value realization of Cargill Nutrition Cloud (CNC) and Cargill Labeling Cloud (CLC) in accordance with the approved roadmap. The role will partner with Digital Technology & Data, regional and in-market RMS teams, and other functional stakeholders to simplify processes, reduce manual work, improve decision quality, and capture efficiency and business value from enhanced platform capabilities. The role will represent RMS and the formulation function in key cross-functional initiatives, including Optimized Nutrition (ON) and Nutrition, Formulation and Quality (NFQ).
This role is also accountable for strengthening the global formulation talent system. It will define capability and proficiency standards, support career paths and succession planning, and establish a learning and development agenda that evolves with business and technology needs. Through coaching, talent development programs, and a strong global community of practice, the role will build the formulation capabilities required for ANH’s long-term success.
