At Sendex, we help premium e-commerce brands ship their orders all over the world. We're growing quickly; and as we grow, the operation becomes more complex. We currently operate a 22.000 m2 warehouse near Amsterdam and ship over 150.000 orders per year. We move fast, take ownership and enjoy solving complex logistical challenges. That's why we're looking for experienced Interim Warehouse Operations Lead. This is a hands-on role. Not from behind a desk, but together with the team on the warehouse floor.
What you'll do
You'll take ownership of our daily warehouse operation. Your responsibilities include:
- Make sure our warehouse runs smoothly, efficiently and in an organised way.
- Ensure all orders are shipped on time while maintaining high quality standards.
- Roll up your sleeves and jump in on the warehouse floor whenever needed.
- Be the main point of contact for our clients and build strong relationships.
- Identify and solve problems before they become bigger issues.
- Continuously improve processes to make the operation more efficient and scalable.
You'll lead, develop and grow a team of around 1-15 people, depending on the season, and play a key role in how we continue to scale.

You're someone who:
- Have experience in leading a warehouse and fulfillment.
- Takes ownership and solves problems instead of pointing at them.
- Enjoys leading people and setting high standards.
- Gets satisfaction from keeping things organized and under control.
- Sees it as a no-brainer to jump in and help with ground-level operations when needed.
- Takes pride in doing things properly, even when nobody is watching.
- Fluent English is required. Dutch is a plus.
