Job Description
Schakelaars Design is an e-commerce brand specializing in the online sale of designer switches, sockets, frames and electrical accessories for interior design and home improvement projects.
As part of the development of its online activity, the company is looking for a Digital Acquisition & E-commerce Intern for a period of 2 to 4 months.
The main objective of the internship will be to support the company’s digital growth by improving online visibility, generating qualified traffic and contributing to the performance of the e-commerce website.
Main Responsibilities
Digital Acquisition / SEA
* Assist in the creation, monitoring and optimization of Google Ads campaigns.
* Conduct keyword research based on product categories and customer search intent.
* Help structure search campaigns and ad groups.
* Write and optimize ad copy.
* Monitor campaign performance: impressions, clicks, CPC, CTR, conversions and cost per conversion.
* Suggest optimizations to improve campaign performance and return on investment.
Social Ads
* Support the creation and optimization of paid campaigns on Meta Ads: Facebook and Instagram.
* Help define audiences, campaign objectives and ad formats.
* Participate in the creation of visuals and advertising copy.
* Contribute to retargeting campaign ideas.
* Analyze campaign results and suggest improvements.
LinkedIn Ads / B2B Acquisition
* Participate in the preparation of LinkedIn Ads campaigns targeting professional audiences.
* Identify relevant B2B targets such as architects, interior designers, electricians and home renovation professionals.
* Help create advertising messages adapted to professional customers.
* Support lead generation initiatives through LinkedIn campaigns.
E-commerce & Website Optimization
* Help optimize product pages: titles, descriptions, visuals, keywords and categories.
* Update website content on WordPress / WooCommerce.
* Contribute to improving the customer journey and user experience.
* Support SEO improvements in addition to paid acquisition campaigns.
* Carry out competitive research in the interior design and electrical accessories market.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
* Track key performance indicators such as traffic, clicks, conversions, CTR, CPC and revenue.
* Help prepare simple performance dashboards.
* Analyze the results of digital actions and propose recommendations.
* Provide regular reporting to the internship supervisor.
Profile Required
* Student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, business school or university program in digital marketing, e-commerce, communication or a related field.
* Strong interest in digital acquisition, SEA and performance marketing.
* Basic knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads or LinkedIn Ads is appreciated.
* Knowledge of e-commerce platforms or CMS such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify or similar tools is a plus.
* Good writing skills.
* Comfortable with Canva and Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console or Google Merchant Center is a plus.
* Good level of English required.
