You are a driven Project Manager who can lead product development from the quotation phase through to successful completion with international, multidisciplinary teams. In addition, you serve as the vital link between our international customers and teams, our global production and development sites, and our Engineering and Operations departments. Your main duties and responsibilities:
Develop project plans, including deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
Assemble project teams and assign project activities to individual team members. As Project Manager, you are jointly responsible for ensuring the availability of the required resources, tools, and facilities.
Monitor the progress of projects and team member activities and take corrective action when necessary.
Develop and present progress reports, providing stakeholders with the information needed for decision-making and follow-up actions.
Ensure successful delivery of project outcomes while managing stakeholder relationships and expectations.
Evaluate project execution and results upon completion.
Oversee the portfolio of ongoing projects and capture best practices within Power-Packer to support continuous organizational improvement.
What will you do?
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the effective and efficient execution of New Product Development (NPD) projects, from the quotation phase through to completion. You ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the defined scope and within the agreed timelines, budget, and quality requirements. Other types of projects, such as process improvement and concept development initiatives, may also fall within your area of responsibility. As a Project Manager, you will manage a portfolio of 4–8 projects, each involving 5–10 team members.
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a technical project environment.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
- Experience with stringent quality standards such as APQP and ISO/TS.
- Excellent command of English and Dutch, with German preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of and experience with PMI or comparable project management methodologies.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Experience with financial models.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
