As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you are responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving high-quality mechanical modules and systems. You collaborate closely with specialists in mechatronics, electronics, software, production, and system engineering to develop innovative solutions that are technically sound, manufacturable, and meet high standards in precision, dynamics, reliability, and integration. Your responsibilities: - Designing mechanical concepts and 3D models for complex high-tech modules - Calculating, simulating, and analyzing constructions (FEM, strength, stiffness, thermal, tolerances) - Preparing technical documentation, such as production drawings, tolerance schemes, and specifications - Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and production partners - Guiding prototypes, validations, and test setups for functionality and manufacturability - Supporting industrialization and transfer to production - Identifying and implementing improvements at the design, system, or process level - Actively contributing to knowledge sharing within TMC’s technical community
