WHAT DOES YOUR DAY AS A MEETING & EVENTS COORDINATOR LOOK LIKE?
As a Meeting & Events Coordinator, you work together with the team on organizing and planning groups and events for Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade & Leonardo Hotel Babylon
. This includes meetings, conferences, dinners, and various other events.
A FEW RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maximizing revenue and guest satisfaction by responding quickly and adequately to requests, converting inquiries, and delivering successful events.

Demonstrating commercial insight and strategically executing group and event pricing and planning.

Communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal departments regarding agreements and event execution.

Managing meetings and events from A to Z.

Handling contracts correctly, ensuring deposits are secured, and being jointly responsible for accurate invoicing.

Coordinating menu arrangements for clients that maximize revenue potential for the hotel while meeting the client’s needs.
Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade is located in the heart of international The Hague, right next to the green Van Stolkpark. The hotel lies between The Hague city center and the Scheveningen beach. Guests can relax in our Promenade Healthclub & Spa or enjoy delicious international dishes at LEO’S International Flavors.
Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade has 178 rooms and features a classic yet modern design, reflected throughout the hotel’s atmosphere. The hotel also offers 10 meeting rooms, making it the perfect choice for both business and leisure guests.
Leonardo Hotel Babylon, an icon at The Hague Central Station since 1978 and part of Leonardo Hotels. Centrally located, with a fantastic view and, of course, all the famous attractions within easy reach. The hotel has 143 rooms and several special meeting rooms. On the first floor of the hotel you will find our bar and restaurant "The Livingroom", where we create a real feeling of home for our guests.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT ADDITION TO OUR TEAM

At least 1 year of experience in Event Management
-
Bachelor-level working and thinking capability (HBO) and preferably a hospitality-related education (Hotel Management School, Facility Management, NHTV)
-
Experience with both social and corporate events; experience with hybrid events is a strong plus
-
Experience with Opera Sales & Catering
-
Strong command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written
-
A creative and positive mindset, and you don’t take “no” for an answer

Professional, service-oriented, and a true team player
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to build new connections easily

Ability to think strategically, strong numerical insight, and capable of taking the lead
