As a Land Affairs Advisor, you work at the intersection of technology, environment, and practice. You play a key role in projects related to energy infrastructure in Western Netherlands, ensuring that the interests of landowners, users, and the surrounding environment are carefully considered, without compromising the progress of projects.
You work within an environmental management team and have daily contact with internal project teams, legal colleagues, government organizations, and external stakeholders. The position offers a lot of variety: from legal procedures and valuations to contributing technical insights about routes and work areas.
In this role, you are the main point of contact for internal clients and project teams regarding questions about outdoor spaces. Your tasks include:
-
Acquiring and managing rights and private law permissions, such as easement rights, within the applicable legal framework
-
Preparing and guiding procedures, including compulsory purchase proceedings
-
Valuing and handling crop damage claims
-
Representing stakeholders such as landowners, users, government agencies, and external consultants
-
Identifying environmental interests and translating them into practical solutions in technical design and implementation
-
Contributing ideas about routes, feasibility, and worksite arrangements, with attention to aspects like nature and soil, drainage, and the operations of those involved
