What you are going to do
At NN, HR is transforming into a product-oriented organisation focused on delivering measurable business value. As Portfolio Manager within HR Strategy & Change, you will play a central role in aligning our HR portfolio with business priorities and strategic outcomes. You will orchestrate the HR governance and portfolio management cycle, ensuring transparency on priorities, progress, risks, and performance. You will facilitate annual and quarterly planning processes while fostering a culture of outcome- and value-based decision-making.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Portfolio Governance & Strategic Planning: Translating strategic ambitions into an actionable portfolio, facilitating annual planning and quarterly reviews, and maintaining an integrated view of the HR portfolio, including risks and capacity
- Value-based Working & Portfolio Performance: Embedding value-based thinking, defining and monitoring HR portfolio KPIs, and developing management reports for informed decision-making
- Enabling a Product Way of Working: Supporting the adoption of portfolio and product management practices, establishing effective planning mechanisms, and facilitating collaboration across product teams to ensure alignment with broader HR priorities
- Stakeholder Management & Executive Support: Acting as a strategic partner for HR leadership, building relationships with key stakeholders, and preparing executive presentations and decision-making materials

You bring:
- A Master's degree in a relevant field
- 8-10+ years of experience in portfolio management, strategy execution, or governance roles
- Experience with portfolio management, quarterly business reviews, strategic planning, and performance management, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organisational levels
- Excellent analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, fluent in English (Dutch proficiency is a plus)
